The situation is real on the ground! Drought and famine have been reported in all parts of Turkanaland this year. Many of the local wells have dried up! People have to walk many miles away to fetch water for themselves and their livestock. The dry weather is expected to get worse for an indefinite period of time, threatening thousands of lives. The dry conditions could also lead to increased cases of malnutrition, diarrhea, and cholera. We invite you to buy as many bags (220lb each) of foodstuffs as the Lord may direct you at $40/bag for dry corn and $85/bag for dry beans.
