SHORT TERM OUTREACH & RELIEF MISSION
Between 1997 and 2006, the annual, predominantly
non-indigenous STORM teams planted 10 churches in
10 previously unreached villages in Turkanaland (Pop.
~ 500,000). In January 2007, the STORM approach
was indigenized by combining it with the resident SI
Team of Evangelism (SITE) in order to enhance faster
expansion of the Church (Matt. 28:19,20; Acts 1:8) in
Turkanaland and beyond. STORM-SITE continues
to plant more and more churches in the hinterland
throughout the year.
In June 2007, SI introduced the second phase of
her mission in Turkanaland by initiating the annual,
non-indigenous STORM Special Annual Program
(STORM-SAP) which emphasizes Bible teaching,
training, medical, nutrition, relief, and entrepreneurship
ministries.

Short Term Outreach & Relief Mission is Share
International's premier ministry that
plants churches by:
- Evangelizing unreached villages, one homestead at a time
- Holding open-air meetings and showing the Jesus Film
- Loving & praying for new believers
- demonstrating the power of the Cross
- Teaching, explaining, and demonstrating the Bible, one soul, two souls, more souls at a time.
- Contructing church buildings together with new believers
- Baptizing believers...in a trough, river, and lake.
- Providing food, water, medical care and clothes
